Inma’s studio is located in an old palace from the 14th century in the center of Barcelona, specifically, in the El Born neighborhood and was renovated in 1992, preserving much of its charm.
In the last two photos you will see how the house was before; Fortunately, the starting point for the reform was not an absolute disaster, but the improvement is certainly considerable and the apartment has been modernized a lot, don’t you think?
Inma is not a decorator or interior designer, she is an economist, and a painter in her spare time (you can see one of her paintings on the wall above the bed), she also has a blog where she publishes beautiful things, so, venturing into a renovation like this has a lot Merit !, he tells us that he was inspired by some of our publications for the changes and we cannot be more excited!
Among other things, in the reform the white ceramic floor was changed for parquet, the bathroom completely, changing the bathtub for a shower tray; The furniture is also different, new in some areas such as the kitchen and recycled, painted white in the living room area, as you can see, simple ideas, which have greatly improved the spaciousness, have well defined a decorative style with Nordic airs and given warmth to the house, we love it !!
With what we like in the El Born district of Barcelona, it would be great to visit it for a long weekend and enjoy its narrow streets and stay in this charming studio, don’t you think? Happy Monday!
