More than 200 people paid their last respects in Geldermalsen this afternoon to a 38-year-old mother and her 6-year-old son who died as a result of a family murder last week.
Those present formed a guard of honor for the procession and threw flowers on the hearses. Bubbles were also blown. The initiative of the honorary hague came from the primary school of the 6-year-old boy. Several students and their parents were also at the farewell. After the honorary hague, a private funeral service in Tiel followed.
A woman who was in the honorary hague, a friend from Belarus, was deeply affected by the death of Dani and his mother Anna. “This is very sad. I tried to call her on Monday, but she didn’t answer.
