The Sant Roc de Maó Boutique Hotel will receive this Saturday the Hotels & Tourism award, awarded by CaixaBank de Balears, in the category of “Repositioning and reform”.
Among the hotels selected in the Balearic Islands, the Sant Roc boutique has stood out in the subcategory of establishments with fifty rooms or less, due to the originality of the repositioning, reform, innovative design and the impact on the destination.
The other three winners from the Islands are Five Flower & Spa Formentera, in the category of «Digital transformation»; Meliá Hotels International, awarded for the second year in the «Corporate Responsibility» category; and Santa Catalina Royal Hidewey Canarias, from the Barceló group, in the same category as Sant Roc de Mahón, although in the subcategory of establishments with 50 rooms or more.
The award, at FITUR
All of them are competing for the CaixaBank Hotels & Tourism national award, whose final decision will be made public on January 22 during its second edition, at the stand that the financial entity will have at the Fitur specialized fair in Madrid.
Until the date the winners are made public, the jury will select two finalist companies per award, one of which will be the winner in each of the categories of this edition of the tourism awards.
