HOUSE DEMOCRATS READY TO DO WHAT IS NECESSARY TO DESTITUT TRUMP
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Democrats in the House of Representatives are ready to start impeachment proceedings next week against Donald Trump, whom they hold responsible for the violence committed on Capitol Hill Wednesday evening, announced Friday the Deputy Speaker of the House.
“Donald Trump must be removed from office and we will use all means at our disposal to ensure that this is done in order to protect our democracy,” Katherine Clark said in an interview with CNN.
If Vice President Mike Pence does not invoke the 25th Amendment to the Constitution to remove the outgoing President, “we will go ahead with impeachment,” she added.
