The countdown is lit for the birth of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's first son! The real child will be here before we know him, and the fans simply can't see the time to see how many of their predictions come true about the child's name, sex and birth weight.
Being born in the royal family surely brings many honors and privileges that Meghan and Harry's child will experience from the beginning. However, many fans may not realize that Baby Sussex's life will be a little different from the lives of Prince William and Kate Middleton's children. So how exactly does Meghan's life and Harry's baby differ from the lives of Cambridge children?
Baby Sussex may not have a real title
The children of Cambridge, George, Charlotte and Louis are known as Princes and Princesses. When Baby Sussex arrives, it is likely that he or she will not be awarded a real title. The reason for this is because Harry is not a future king.
While it is true that he is the sixth in line to be the monarch, it is likely that he will never ascend the throne. His place in a row will be pushed even further back into the future, when the Cambridge children will become their parents themselves.
The child will not grow up in London
As many people already know, Meghan and Harry are renovating Frogmore Cottage, located near their Windsor wedding venue, about 40 miles outside of London.
This will allow their child to be raised in a quieter environment, outside the hustle and bustle of the city. The new royal child will be able to enjoy the English countryside and experience life in the small and picturesque town of Windsor, far from London and a little out of the ordinary.
Meghan and Harry can't hire a nanny
Prince William and Kate Middleton have extremely intense schedules, so even if they are very practical parents, having a nanny is a necessity because of their many duties and real obligations. Although Prince Harry and Meghan have a complete program, they are thought to be considering Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, who takes care of the child when he is unable to do it himself.
This would have been a definitive first for senior members of the royal family since Prince William and Harry had a nanny themselves when they grew up. However, with Doria said to be in seventh heaven about the arrival of her first grandchild, it is really not a surprise that she wants to help in any way possible!
Baby Sussex will have a much more private life
While the children of Cambridge have occasionally been seen at public events, this will not be the case with Meghan and Harry's daughter. Chances are, he or she will be kept out of the spotlight as much as possible, not appearing in as many events as the sons of William and Kate in the past. Since Prince George is a future king, it was much expected that Will and Kate would present him to the world shortly after his birth, and they also followed the example with the other two children.
Since little Sussex will be in seventh place in line with the throne, not many people expect to see Meghan and Harry emerge on the steps of the hospital immediately after the baby's arrival. It is thought that they can very well keep certain things private until they feel ready to release the details.
We can't wait to meet Baby Sussex! Meghan and Harry are both famous with children, and are sure to become excellent parents. Regardless of the type of parenting style they decide, their child will surely have a wonderful, unique and perfect education in Meghan and Harry!
