HP has introduced updated Omen and Victus series gaming laptops equipped with Intel Raptor Lake or AMD Ryzen 7000 processors, as well as NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-series graphics cards.

The HP Omen Transcend 16 offers Intel processors up to the 24-core Core i9-13900HX at up to 5.4GHz. The laptop is also ready to offer a discrete GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card, up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and a 2 TB NVMe SSD.
Screen Omen Transcend 16 is equipped with a Mini-LED backlight, has an aspect ratio of 16:10, supports a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, a refresh rate of 240 Hz and has a response time of 7 ms. Peak display brightness is 1180 cd/m2. The laptop is equipped with a 97 Wh battery.
The Omen 16 model can offer an octa-core AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS with a frequency of up to 5.2 GHz, a GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card, as well as up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of permanent memory. The novelty is equipped with a display with support for QHD resolution and a response time of 3 ms.
The Omen Transcend 16 and Omen 16 feature RGB keyboards and 1080p webcams. The HP Omen Trascend 16 will start at $1699.99 and the Omen 16 will start at $1299.99. The laptops will go on sale this spring.
HP’s Victus series notebooks are designed for users with a more limited budget, but HP has tried to make sure that they do not look cheap on the outside. These laptop models can be powered by a 16-core Intel Core i7-13700HX up to 5GHz or an octa-core AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS up to 5.1GHz. As a graphics subsystem, the GeForce RTX 4070 is offered here.
Victus series notebooks are equipped with single-zone RGB backlit keyboards. The laptops will be on sale this spring starting at $1,049.99.
