Valladolid, 09 May. (EFE) .- The vice president, spokesperson and counselor of the Junta de Castilla y León, Francisco Igea, has recognized this Saturday that the decisions adopted yesterday by the Ministry of Health on which territories were advancing to phase 1 of de-escalation of the pandemic is “the correct road”.
This has been expressed by the vice president through a message broadcast on his social networks, after the Central Government limited the Community’s proposal to 26 basic areas and 53,000 inhabitants and rejected the request of the Board that there were 39 basic areas and 78,000 citizens who will advance phase in the Community.
However, Igea has considered that with its decisions, the Government has exercised its “obligation as sole command”, by rejecting some requests from some Communities, by “substantially modifying” others, by doing so partially in other proposals or by accepting them completely.
“For this was the state of alarm,” summarized the vice president and spokesman for the Board. EFE
