Many seed allergens, including sesame; It has similar common protein with peanuts, nuts, kiwi and other seeds.

When the sesame seeds are examined; It has been shown that they have similar protein structure to varying degrees with poppy seeds, nuts, kiwi and cereals.

There are also common protein structures between sesame and walnuts, cashews, hazelnuts, pistachios and peanuts. Due to the allergens in the common protein structure among these foods, cases with sesame allergy may encounter allergic reactions when they consume these foods.
