The SPVQ said it was still looking for the suspects after securing the building. The police did not find any other victims.

Several units have been called upon, including the canine unit, the forensic identification unit, the serious crimes unit as well as the MALSAIN project which will be responsible in particular for investigating the circumstances of the event.

The MALSAIN project is an initiative of the SPVQ in place since 2019, in order to counter an increase in violence linked to drug trafficking by organized crime.
