IN PICTURES | New shots in broad daylight in Montreal

After a relative lull of a few weeks, armed violence experienced a new upheaval on Thursday afternoon in Montreal, when several shots were fired in the middle of the street, in the Saint-Léonard district.

The shooting occurred shortly after 2 p.m. on Pascal-Gagnon Street, in an industrial and commercial area.

According to our information, at least seven shots were fired. One of the projectiles hit the front of a mechanical garage.

Some witnesses told us that the business was targeted by the attack, but this is information that the police did not want to confirm.

None of the merchants working in the industrial district wanted to speak to TVA Nouvelles.
