The chain of small stores is determined not to lose competition in the fight with the new player of the Latvian retail industry “Lidl”. Everyone mentions their trump cards and strategies, but in general they anticipate that the biggest impact will still be felt by the trade giants working in the Latvian market.
Representatives of “Aibe”, “top!”, “Elvi” and “Citro” admit that the competition in the field in which they operate is already fierce and growing. The main plan in the face of Lidl is to entice buyers with local products.
