Inditex has donated, through the Red Cross, 1,655 products families affected by the collapse of a 21-story building in Teruel last June 13.
The donation consists of bedding, duvets, dishes and kitchenware varied, valued at 21,100 euros.
It joins many other expressions of solidarity on the part of hundreds of people from Teruel and from other parts of Spain, from institutions such as the Teruel Town Hall with a direct aid of 1,000 euros per family, or entities, such as Ibercaja o CaixaBank with a contribution of 10,000 euros each.
This last donation aims to “help and support families in covering the basic needs of each home, as a response and support to the reality they have faced after the emergency situation caused by the collapse.”
The textile multinational thus joins the solidarity initiatives of the Centro Comercial Abierto de Teruel and commercial establishments in the city and from other populations that donated products or cash to the victims.
