INEGI Population Census: there are more than 126 million Mexicans in the country

In a press conference, the president of Inegi, Julio Santaella, highlighted that the population residing in Mexico and born in another country is 1,212,252 inhabitantsOf these, 797,266 people were born in the United States of America, 56,810 people in the Republic of Guatemala, and 52,948 are from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

The Inegi added that Chiapas is the youngest entity with 24 years of median age, while Mexico City turned out to be the oldest entity with 35 years of median age.
