In a results-filled February, Anthem managed to exit the game in the United States. Despite a launch recognized as "harder than expected" by its developers, the latest BioWare and EA production is the best selling last month on the US market (including physical + numeric, except for exceptions) according to the rankings provided by NPD Group.

Beyond this domination in February, Anthem recorded the second best month in the history of a BioWare studio game behind Mass Effect 3, released in March 2012. The tracking of NPD Group does not, however, take into account the players – who we imagine many – who have tried the shoot-and-shoot game through the Origin Access Premier subscription service. This allows access to the full game and a catalog of other titles against € 14.99 per month. Another remarkable result: that of Jump Force, which had the third best start in the history of Bandai Namco in the United States in terms of copies sold, and the good performance of Metro Exodus, which beats the sales of its predecessor Metro: Last Light by 50% during their respective launch months. Crackdown 3 is absent in the top 20.

Notice that if we take into account January, Kingdom Hearts III is currently the best seller of the year 2019, in front of Anthem, Resident Evil 2, Force Jump, Red Dead Redemption II and Super Smash Bros. Finale.
