The movement of shares of PT Sentul City Tbk (BKSL) plunged to the level of Rp 54 per share. Today, shares of property issuers fell 5.26% to the lowest auto reject (ARB). This decline occurred a day after the company sold AEON Mall to Japanese investors.
Based on RTI data, Tuesday (20/4/2021), until 13.48 WIB, 404.01 million shares of BKSL had been transacted with a transaction value of Rp 22.15 billion. Meanwhile, the trading frequency of BKSL shares reached 6,354 times.
Previously, Sentul City sold AEON Mall Sentul City to Japanese investors, namely AEON Japan represented by PT AEON Mall Indonesia. The transaction was carried out on April 15, 2021.
“The company has sold the land and buildings of AEON Mall Sentul City to PT AEON Mall Indonesia,” wrote the President Director of Sentul City, Tjetje Muljanto in an information disclosure, Monday (19/4/2021).
AEON Mall Sentul City sold for Rp 1.9 trillion. One of the money will be used to pay off a loan to PT Bank BNI Tbk (BBNI) amounting to Rp 900 billion.
From the proceeds from the sale, Sentul City will also use the proceeds to finance operational activities, fulfill agreements, and improve the Company’s financial performance in the second quarter of 2021.
“Of course, it really helps our cash flow,” he explained.
