The Israeli Army has announced that, thanks to information from internal intelligence services, it has killed the head of the Air Division of Hamas, Asem Abu Rakaba, in an attack carried out this evening. “He participated in planning the massacre in communities bordering the Gaza Strip on October 7. He directed the terrorists who infiltrated Israel on paragliders and was responsible for the drone attacks against Army posts” the military spokesperson reported on the death of another leader of Hamas. Early in the morning, Israel did not provide details about the third consecutive ground incursion into the Palestinian enclave that, according to the armed wing of the jihadist group, clashed with militants.

On the other hand, intense fighting has been fought in Gaza this Saturday morning due to the expansion of ground operations of Israelwhich has cut off communications in the Palestinian territory three weeks after the deadliest attack in the country’s history.

In another statement, the Israel Defense Forces reported this Saturday that they have “hit” some 150 underground targets in the northern Gaza Strip, such as tunnels and underground combat posts.
