It is worth 376 thousand dollars and comes to order: this is the new electric car that was launched in Argentina

Audi put up for sale in Argentina the e-tron GT, a fully sporty, high-performance sedan. Its price is 376 thousand dollars and it comes from Germany only by request; that is, there is no immediate stock at dealers.

Although for other markets there are two variants, to Argentina comes only in RS e-tron GT version; that is, the spiciest. It is, in turn, one of the most expensive cars in the country.

How is the Audi RS e-tron GT

The RS e-tron variant delivers under normal conditions 598 horsepower. When the driver activates the boost function for a period of time, it can reach 646 horsepower. By having two electric motors, one located on each axis, the traction is total four wheels.

With this mechanical assembly, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. Who said electric cars are boring?

The battery is lithium ion, with a capacity of 93.4 kWh. Like the Taycan, it runs on 800 volts. The autonomy declared, for its part, is up to 487 kilometers.

For vehicle loading Audi installed the most powerful device in Argentina at the corner of Tagle and Figueroa Alcorta, more precisely at the door of the Audi Lounge.

The e-tron GT shares a platform and other parts with the Porsche Taycan, by taking advantage of the fact that both brands are part of the Volkswagen Group. In this way, Audi can have this high-efficiency architecture for its top-of-the-range electric.

The suspension is variable and is available in two configurations, one of them sportier (that of the RS e-tron GT), and another particularity is that it has rear wheel steeringa technical solution that improves the dynamics in certain maneuvers.

Externally they maintain the design language of the brand of the rings, with a certain air of the A7 Sportback. four doors and different aerodynamic elements both in the front and on the side and the rear area.

Con five meters long and 2.9m of wheelbase, the e-tron GT offers seating for five passengers. The rear trunk, meanwhile, has a capacity of 405 liters, to which must be added 85 liters of a smaller one located in front.
