Javier Cremades, awarded the National Prize for Jurisprudence of Mexico

Lawyer Javier Cremadespresident and founder of the firm Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo, has been awarded the National Jurisprudence Award of Mexico, considered the legal award par excellence in the country. The award ceremony will take place at a gala to be held on November 30. This has been announced by the Mexican Bar Association, which annually awards this decoration to the jurist who “has distinguished himself for his services to Mexican society in general” as well as for the “dissemination of Law and the science of jurisprudence.” .

Cremades, a doctor in Law from the universities of Regensburg (Germany) and the Spanish UNED and an Honoris Causa doctor from the University of Valencia, is considered one of the most influential lawyers in our country. Since 2019, he has chaired the World Jurist Association as well as the International Financial Litigation Network, a financial litigation network made up of law firms from thirty countries. The law firm he directs, founded at the end of the nineties, is today one of the main Spanish firms and has a significant presence in Latin America. It has offices in eight countries and has professionals of fifteen different nationalities.
