KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed higher on the second trading day of this week. Citing RTI data, Tuesday (6/4), JCI strengthened 0.54% or 32.48 points to the level of 6,002.77 at the end of trading.
Nine out of 10 sectors rose to become the main support for the JCI. The sectors that strengthened the most were mining 2.22%, construction 1.02% and trading 0.96%. Only the consumer goods sector fell slightly by 0.7%.
The total volume of stock trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) reached 17.10 billion shares with a total transaction value of Rp 8.90 trillion. There were 301 stocks that rose, 186 stocks that fell and 159 stocks that were stagnant.
Foreign investors posted net sell amounting to Rp. 316.09 billion in all markets. Meanwhile in the regular market, foreigners posted a record net sell amounting to Rp 200.58 billion.
Shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) also many foreigners sold for Rp. 164.3 billion. BBRI’s shares closed flat at Rp 4,200 per share. BBRI’s total share trading volume reached 183.9 million with a transaction value of IDR 774.3 billion.
Then foreigners also recorded the third largest net sell in the shares of PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) amounting to IDR 56.5 billion. ASII’s shares closed flate at the level of Rp 5,350 per share. The total trading volume of ASII’s shares reached 67.5 million with a transaction value of IDR 361.5 billion.
