JK Rowling sued her former PA for £ 24,000 for claims that she went on a business credit card.
The author of Harry Potter claims that Amanda Donaldson, 35, has broken close working arrangements to buy items that include cosmetics and Harry Potter gifts for personal use.
Donaldson, of Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, worked for Mrs Rowling between February 2014 and April 2017, before being fired for gross negligence.
The legal documents filed with Airdrie Sheriff Court claim to have unduly benefited from a value of £ 23.696 using a company credit card. The author is using her married name, Joanne Murray, in civil action.
Ms. Donaldson is said to have received a credit card and claims that all the bills were related to the business.
The discrepancies were presumably detected in February last year revealing a high volume of personal spending. She was suspended after meeting an accountant to discuss the use of the card.
