JAKARTA, KOMPAS TV – Some money originating from the Covid-19 social assistance vendor (bansos) fee is said to have been given to a lawyer, Hotma Sitompul.
This was stated by former Acting Director (Plt) Director of Social Protection for Social Disaster Victims (PSKBS) of the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos), Adi Wahyono.
“At that time I was asked by the Minister directly in his office, there was a lawyer there. I immediately gave him Rp. 3 billion,” Adi said at the Corruption Court in Jakarta, Monday (8/3/2021), quoted from Antara.
During the trial, Adi was present as a witness for two accused bribes of former Social Minister Juliari Peter Batubara, namely Harry Van Sidabukke and Ardian Iskandar Maddanatja.
According to Adi, the Rp 3 billion in cash came from the official who made the commitment (PPK) at the Ministry of Social Affairs, Matheus Joko Santoso.
“I asked Pak Joko for the ‘fees’ that Pak Joko collected,” said Adi.
