KIA will start the year with big news. Through a teaser, the Korean firm mentions that “a new journey begins” as a preview of the big announcement that will take place tomorrow: the relaunch of the brand. THAT will present a logo renovated, a new slogan and your vision for the next few years.
All the information will be released in a matter of hours, however, from now on we know quite juicy details, such as the new logo design. KIA advanced it with subtlety when it presented the Imagine by KIA Concept in March 2019. The prototype already exhibited the new typeface and anticipated the goodbye of the oval that has accompanied the logo since 1994.
The logo has already been registered with the South Korean Intellectual Property Rights Information Service along with the slogan “Movement that inspires” (movement that inspires), which will replace the current slogan of “The power to surprise”.
It is not known which model will debut this emblem, but 2021 will be such an active year for the Korean firm in terms of launches, that there are already several options. The new generations of Sportage and Niro are on the way, although the strongest candidate to debut the logo —and the new vision— is the the brand’s first native electric vehicle.
