Jayme Closs had not been seen since mid-October. The 13-year-old disappeared the day her parents, James and Denis, were found dead, shot dead, in their home near Barron, Wisconsin, USA. She had been kidnapped.
The girl was found alive Thursday, January 10, about sixty kilometers from home, confirmed the local authorities.
Jayme managed to escape from his kidnapper, who kept her in an apartment in a private residence in Gordon Township, an hour away from Barron.
According to local media, she would have knocked on a neighbor's door, which immediately recognized her thanks to the numerous research notices that had been circulating in the region for three months.
