King of Malaysia who married the queen of Russian beauty on the edge of "divorce"

A few weeks after the King of Malaysia Sultan Muhammad V abdicated the throne after his secret marriage to a former Russian beauty queen, the two are said to be on the edge of the divorce filing.

Sultan Muhammad married Oksana Voevodina, 25, in November, after a swirling love story, with the former Miss Moscow converting to Islam at the beginning of the year to marry the monarch .

Following their sumptuous ceremony in Moscow – which reportedly observed Islamic traditions as being alcohol-free and serving only halal food – the king has moved away from his throne to be with his bride.

It was the first time in the history of the country that a monarch had resigned before completing their five-year term.

But despite the fairytale romance there are reports that the couple is in danger.

"The fairy tale about the Russian Cinderella who married a king is likely to be over … preparing the necessary documents is already underway", the publication quotes the Russian newspaper Tolko Nikomu as a signal.

"The marriage lasted only a couple of months."

The report also states that another news site in Oksana's home country claims to have "decided to divorce", citing another who claimed that the spouses have "frequent files".

However, the bride's father, reportedly, defined the statements "absurdity".

Surgeon Andrey Gorbatenko said: "It makes no sense, I do not read the internet, but I would have been the first to know."

The couple – who has an age of 25 – is also said to "expect" their first child together.

While the rumors about pregnancy were not confirmed, it was suspected that he had a role in the sudden abdication of the king in January 2019, which followed two months of medical leave.

In a statement at the time, the palace said that the king was grateful for the opportunity that had been given to him by the Council of Governors and thanked the Prime Minister and the government.

The statement in full reading: "His Highness has worked to fulfill his responsibilities entrusted to him as head of state, serving as a pillar of stability, a source of justice, the nucleus of unity … for the people".

We do not know how they met and it is not clear if she was married before.

The building has not responded to requests for comments on photos or marriage reports.

Oksana's previous reports on a TV reality show her participation in a steamy scene in a swimming pool.

Pro-Kremlin newspaper Komosomolskaya Pravda reported that the "royal wife" held a glass of champagne while "surprised the participants of a reality show by having sex on her first date".

The New Straits Times reported that there had been tensions between the palace and the government of Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, who led the opposition to an electoral victory in May.
