Ukrainian authorities will evacuate children from the Kupiansk district, on the front line of the northeastern province of Kharkiv, where Russian forces carry out intense daily attacks to retake territory they already conquered at the beginning of the war.
“We prepared an order on the forced evacuation of families with children from ten locations”said the head of the Military Administration of this province bordering Russia, Oleg Siniegubov, in an intervention on public television.
The towns are in the Kupiansk district, where Russia launches daily attacks and intense fighting takes place. According to the data available to the Ukrainian authorities, in the localities that will be evacuated 275 children live there.
All evacuated children must go accompanied by one of their parents or another authorized family member or guardian, explained the head of the Military Administration of the province, who is also considering evacuating other areas of the front under his responsibility.
