La Hulpe takes the shock, ASUB leader, Kituro and Frameries all smiles

Things are moving in the ranking of the D1 at the end of the 7th day on November 21. This was placed under the sign of the match at the top between La Hulpe and Soignies, two teams still undefeated before facing each other.

A beautiful poster during which the stake took precedence over the game, especially in the first period. The intensity was certainly present on both sides, but too many mistakes too. In addition to a fight shortly before the half-hour concluded on red cards for Gautier Placines and Julien Toubeau, the first half was reduced to a duel of penalties, won by Sonégiens leading 6-9 to oranges.

The first try of the game fell at the start of the second period, works by Gaspard Lalli (13-9). The two kickers Julian Izaguirre (3 of 4 on penalties) and Alan Williams (6 of 9 on penalties) then answered each other again, bringing the score to 16-18 with ten minutes remaining. The victory then fell into the Hulpois camp following a new action concluded in the in-goal by Gaspard Lalli (23-18).

La Hulpe therefore retains its unbeaten record with a fifth victory in five games. In the standings, the fifteenth from the Stade du Brésil comes down to one point behind Soignies, which has one match more than La Hulpe but also one match less than ASUB, the new leader of the standings!

The waterloot team has indeed won at Pachy against RFC Liégeois. The score: 42-8. The ASUB therefore took the opportunity to seize the first place.

At the Wahis Complex, the capital derby between Kituro and Boitsfort gave rise to a good game, undecided until the end. Led to the mark for nearly 70 minutes, the Schaerbeekois managed to snatch the victory 20 to 16 thanks to a try and a penalty at the end of the match. As a symbol, the ultimate penalty was converted by Nicolas Meeus, the iconic Kituro player having hung up his crampons at the final whistle.

Building on this success, his 3rd of the season and the 2nd in a row, the Kituro comes back up to Boitsfort in fourth place in a ranking in which Frameries is also progressing. At the end of a match marked in particular by a red card in each camp, the Charbon et Or have taken the measure of ROC 24 to 0 and overtake the Ottintois in sixth position.
