Lavrov reminded the Swiss ambassador of a proverb in case of sanctions

MOSCOW, June 18 – RIA news. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov recalled at the Swiss ambassador Yves Rossier a Russian proverb that could be useful to him if a foreign diplomat falls under sanctions.

Previously, the Swiss ambassador read a poem composed of Russian proverbs.

"To fear the wolves – do not go to the forest", Lavrov joked.

The Russian minister also noted that the residence of the ambassador is located on the territory of the embassy complex. Lavrov recalled that when he had the opportunity to live on the territory of the Russian mission at the UN in New York in 1994, this experience was difficult for him, so he convinced the authorities to create a separate residence for the permanent representative.
