LDC: Raja deprived of two games in Casablanca

The CAF Disciplinary Committee has imposed a fine of 100,000 dollars (89,200 euros) on the Moroccan club Raja Casablanca following the serious incidents which occurred at the Stade Mohammed V, during the quarter-final return match of the League of African Champions (LDC) between Raja Casablanca and Al Ahly (0-0, 0-2 over the two matches). During this meeting, a supporter of Raja died following a “malaise”. The Moroccan club will not play its next two continental matches at home. However, the presence of their supporters is authorized.
