Today, Friday, August 5, the prices of building materials witnessed a state of discrepancy in the local market, as the price of investment iron decreased slightly, and the price of Ezz Dekheila steel and gray cement increased slightly as well.
The prices of new building materials came today after the price of the US dollar rose against the pound in Egyptian banks, and it crossed the 19-pound barrier.
The local price portal of the Information and Decision Support Center in the Council of Ministers announced the new update of iron and cement prices in Egypt today, as follows:
iron and cement price
The investment iron price recorded about 17645.67 pounds per ton.
– The price of Ezz Dekheila steel recorded about 17971.47 pounds per ton.
The price of gray cement recorded about 1406.5 pounds per ton.
In the rest of the iron manufacturing companies, the iron prices in each company were as follows
– The price of Al-Marakbi iron recorded about 17.550 pounds per ton.
– The price of Egyptian iron recorded about 17,570 pounds per ton.
– The price of Al-Garhy iron recorded about 17,300 pounds per ton.

As for gypsum prices, they witnessed a state of stability in the local market, and came as follows:
The price of Sinai gypsum recorded about 860 pounds per ton.
– The price of international gypsum recorded about 710 pounds per ton.
The price of architectural gypsum recorded about 690 pounds per ton.
– The price of Al-Amriya gypsum recorded about 655 pounds per ton.
