Legal, Contract 838 Early Auction Packages IDR 17.5 Trillion Officially Signed

JAKARTA, – The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) officially signed a tender contract/early selection of 838 packages worth IDR 17.5 trillion, Monday (24/1/2022).

This is part of the 2,092 tender/early selection packages with a procurement ceiling value of IDR 35.1 trillion, which has been implemented since October 2021.

“To this day, (January 24, 2022), Ministry of PUPR has completed 838 packages with a value of Rp. 17.5 trillion,” Basuki explained at the signing ceremony, Monday (24/1/2022).

He details, there are 43 work package worth Rp 43 billion has been contracted at the end of December 2020.

While 795 work package valued at Rp. 17.36 trillion, the tender or selection process has been completed and is currently being signed.

The signing was carried out simultaneously by Commitment Making Officers (PPK) and Service Providers from Balais at the Ministry of PUPR in 34 provinces throughout Indonesia.

So far, the procurement process for goods and services has been carried out through several methods such as tender/selection and PUPR sectoral e-catalog to ensure a transparent, effective and efficient process.

By doing so, it is hoped that it will improve the quality of spending on the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) to encourage the wheels of the national economy.

According to him, the modernization of the process of procuring goods and services at the Ministry of PUPR continues to be carried out through the use of information technology, for example through: e-monitoring and the sectoral e-catalog of the Ministry of PUPR.

In addition, the PUPR Ministry will optimize the use of domestic products as well as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to encourage the welfare of the nation’s children.

Meanwhile, in 2022, the Ministry of PUPR manages a budget ceiling of Rp. 100.6 trillion to continue the program infrastructure development in the fields of water resources, roads and bridges, settlements, and housing.

This is done to increase competitiveness as well as become a stimulus for the real sector in order to survive during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
