Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will most likely come out October 20. That’s the date mentioned in a now-deleted video from the official Star Wars channel on YouTube.
All kinds of media are reporting the release date of October 20 mentioned in the video, including the DiscussingFilm Twitter account. Since the video in question has been removed, it could be an error, but it seems more likely that the video and thus the release date were published too early. Publisher Warner Bros. and TT Games have not confirmed the date yet.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has changed the combat system, among other things. That will be layered and more complex, with a new combosystem for hand combat, so that it is no longer a system where the same button has to be pressed. Furthermore, firearms will no longer automatically target enemies; players are free to aim and demand more of their skills. Another innovation is that there is now a third-person perspective.
Unlike previous titles from the Lego Star Wars series, The Skywalker Saga is all about freedom. The new title features an open-world structure based on all nine Star Wars movies. Players are free to explore the environments from those films. It is possible to fly to all kinds of planets via hyperspace and to engage in space battles. There would be hundreds of characters from the movies in the game.
