Orkun Kökcü is in the interest of Leicester City. Of Premier Leagueclub inquired this week at Feyenoord about the twenty-year-old midfielder, it reports generally well-informed Feyenoord Transfermarkt.
Leicester wanted to rent Kökcü, with an option to buy at the end of the season. However, that is not an option for Feyenoord. The Foxes are now aware of the fact that the Rotterdammers only want to sell it ‘directly’. The two-time international of Turkey signed a new contract last summer, which means that he will remain in De Kuip until mid-2025. It is not clear how much he has to yield.
Kökcü played ten times in the Eredivisie. He did not score in that yet. He made six appearances in the Europa League, in which he was accurate once. The midfielder had an ankle injury last month. He made his comeback against Heracles Almelo last week, but that came a bit too soon, he admitted.
Leicester City has added this week #Feyenoord inquired about Orkun Kökçü for a loan period, with an optional purchase in summer. The club management does not agree with this: ‘The Foxes’ are aware that the Turk [contract medio 2025] can only be sold * directly *.
