The police arrested Nathalie Aubry, 47 years old. The suspect allegedly committed her crime in a context of domestic violence, where the man would be the victim in this case.

On July 12, 2021, around 5 p.m., a man contacted the emergency services saying that his ex-spouse had just entered his home on rue de l’Étoile, in the St-Nicolas sector.

According to the complainant, the woman was causing damage to the house before the police arrived.

Once the patrollers were there, they found that a fire had been started and that the woman was still inside.

The police managed to get her out, before providing her with the necessary treatment. Firefighters then quickly controlled the flames.

Nathalie Aubry is scheduled to appear Wednesday to face several counts of arson and mischief over $ 5,000.
