Libya News: training courses in preparation for the national vaccination campaign

This training will be followed by the training of another 45 supervisors from other regions.

As part of the preparations for the 2018 national campaign against measles, rubella and polio, it aimed to stop the measles epidemic and increase children's immunity to polio.

The Vaccination Department of the National Center for Disease Control, with support from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), initiated the first phase of the campaign training 45 vaccine supervisors from different regions, which started on Monday 15/10/2018 and will continue on Saturday 20/10/2018.

Training will be followed by the training of 45 other supervisors from the rest of the regions.

This training is aimed at improving the efficiency of vaccinations supervisors in the regions and providing them with the skills necessary to plan and implement the campaign according to international standards to ensure the success of the campaign.
