Will the future be all-in-one machines capable of printing ready-to-use robots? So imagine researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), who have designed a machine capable of manufacturing complete electronic devices without human intervention. The system allows devices to be created by drawing their geometric structure, electrical circuits and adding electronic components – motors, sensors, batteries – available on the shelf. Thus, a video (below) presents the creation of a drone, from its design on the dedicated software to its manufacture… and its flight, directly from the manufacturing platform.
