It shouldn’t have been: Luca Hänni (25) missed the victory in “Let’s Dance”. In the grand finale, the Bernese musician had to give up against sport climber Moritz Hans (24) and artist Lili Paul-Roncalli (22). Lilli, together with dance partner Massimo Sinató (39), won.
Hänni and his dance partner Christina Luft (30) went as big favorites in the last show, which had to be held without an audience due to the security measures for the corona virus. From the past shows, the two were used to dusting off the maximum number of points for their appearances.
But a little mistake in the final show ultimately brought Hänni to victory. Third place is a good result for the singer, but he could have won the dance double in Germany with a triumph. In 2017 he won on the RTL show “Dance Dance Dance”. However, the current training was even more intensive, as he admits in an interview with BLICK. “I’ve had tears a few times.”
Kudos to dance partner
Hänni raves about his dance partner in the highest tones. “It’s a stroke of luck,” he says. “I couldn’t have imagined a better partner than Christina for this time.”
For the finale, Hänni, who had to spend the last few weeks in Cologne due to the corona virus, received support from Switzerland: his parents and step-brother Cyril (30) supported him on site. (bnr / imh / nim)
