“The results of the data collection by the BPBD team in the field showed that 23 houses were damaged and two of them were heavily damaged. The heavily damaged house was indeed the condition of the building was quite old so the walls collapsed,” said the Head BPBD Brebes, Nuhsy Mansur, when contacted by reporters, Tuesday (28/9/2021).
Nuhsy said that most of the residents whose houses were damaged by the earthquake were evacuated to their relatives’ homes. Because, he explained, the area is also rained with a fairly high intensity.
“We are aware of the impact of cracks in the Igir Gowok hills along the 150 meters. Because if it continues to be exposed to rain, landslides will occur,” concluded Nuhsy.
Based on information from the BMKG via its Twitter account @infoBMKG, the 3.0 magnitude earthquake occurred on land, 9 km northeast of Bumiayu at a depth of 11 km at 08.40 WIB.
