MARATHON: Run Experience, the first start of the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris

The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is a great experience.

D-Day, of course, this famous Sunday, April 2, marked for so long in the diaries. But not only. From Thursday March 30, when the first participants, often accompanied by their friends or family, enter Run Experience to pick up their bib, they will certainly feel a first emotion. The first thrills also when posing in front of the big wall where all the names of the runners are written. Searching for his name, finding it and realizing that this time it’s gone!

With more than 150 exhibitors spread over 26,500 m2, the 90,000 expected visitors, participants of the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris, practicing or not practicing the discipline, experienced runners or neophytes, all find themselves immersed in a unique atmosphere. The opportunity to discover the latest novelties in an innovation area, to test products on a 300 m testing track on a life-size trail field or even in the triathlon area.

In the Fan corner space, visitors will be able to prepare messages of encouragement on panels for broadcast on race day. Whether they are marathon runners or spectators, the map of line 42 will be distributed to them on the RATP stand. Agents will be on hand to identify the best spots to encourage the runners.

Some of the innovations presented and to be tested in preview:

Asics GEL-Nimbus™ 25: the most comfortable running shoe according to a study conducted by The Biomechanics Lab in Australia. In particular, it is equipped with the new PureGEL™ technology, which is more flexible than the previous GEL™ technology, thus creating softer cushioning and better shock absorption in the heel.

adidas Ultraboost Light: Ten years after the launch of BOOST technology, this new model benefits from a new 30% lighter BOOST material that gives it epic energy, ultimate cushioning, unparalleled comfort and responsiveness.

Altra Via Olympus: The all-new VIA Olympus features a 33mm Altra EGO™ MAX midsole, our highest cushioning height. This light and luxurious foam is specially designed for a smooth run.

Bodycross: the innovative French running brand offers a new range of waterproof connected products. Thanks to its 3 innovations, Bodycross makes it possible to practice physical activity even in the rain, while maintaining optimal listening comfort.

Run Experience is above all a place of exchange to experience running in all its forms, the place to share the same passion with the partners of the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris and all the exhibitors. In all areas, the same enthusiasm to give the latest advice and the latest good plans to succeed in your challenge, whether they concern equipment, clothing, accessories, dietetics or even managing the last hours before departure. Along the aisles, the organizers of many races in France but also all over the world will be there to project the runners towards new goals and new dreams, once the finisher’s medal is hung around their necks.

Three days of conferences offered by experts

Back for this 2023 edition, the conference area will also offer a particularly dense and varied program. For three days, many experts will come to testify and share their experience in multiple fields (training, dietetics, science, corporate sport, etc.). Among the many appointments and guests on the program:

Circle Sportwear, eco-responsible and French sports brand presented in the program “Who wants to be my partner? (round table and conference).

Guillaume Adam (Run motion), presents his new book and gives his latest advice. Yotta offers a conference on sport-health and the benefits of sport in the workplace.

Association The 1O1 Fund (One O One) exclusively dedicated to the progress of resuscitation works alongside caregivers to deliver a new power to you: learn how to save lives.

Campus Talk: influencers IrunUMan, Running Addict, Nassim Sahili and Eric Flag with a total community of 2 million on You Tube (also available live).

Nicolas Spiess from Running Addict & Campus Coach: tips for managing the race on D-Day and avoiding the famous wall.

Analysis of the course with the French Athletics Federation (FFA). The FFA will also carry out a “diagnorunning” program with specialized tests to determine the runners’ abilities.

Colpropur: discussion with a professional from the Colpropur team, a brand of health products based on collagen, which offers complete body care, particularly against pain.

Place of passage for all competitors but also for many visitors, Run Experience is the ideal place to inform, share and convey messages around the issue of sustainable development and solidarity, at the heart of the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris. . Eight totems, each representing one of the eco-responsible gestures to be a Green Runner, will for example be positioned at the heart of Run Experience so that the visitor’s understanding is quick and fun.

Another initiative, the “Basket tri” game, set up for the seventh year around the Vittel animation, invites the visitor to throw the most bottles into a basketball hoop, in one minute, in order to prepare him to aim well the day of the race. The opportunity above all to challenge visitors around the question of the climate challenge. A carbon offset cover also shows the commitment to reducing greenhouse gases and offsetting them. The solidarity aspect is also very present. The Africa Run association, for example, collects pairs of running shoes not used by runners in order to distribute them to rural populations in West Africa. In 2022, 913 pairs of running shoes had been collected.

The whole process can be found on the official website.
