MIAMI, Florida – Marie, moving through Pacific waters, became a remnant, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC).
According to the latest NHC bulletin this Tuesday, Marie is 1,675 miles west of the Mexican peninsula of Baja California.
The system has maximum sustained winds of 35 mph, and is moving in a west-northwest direction at a travel speed of 8 mph.
There are no warnings or surveillance for coastal areas.
Marie is forecast to become a low pressure system in the next few days.
