Medellín-Bogotá highway continues closed at the height of Cocorná

The National Highways Institute (Invías), announced since last Friday afternoon a total closure on the Medellín-Bogotá highway due to a landslide caused by the rains.

The blockade occurred due to falling stones and mud in the sector of the municipality of Santuario-Caño Alegre, located in the eastern subregion of Antioquia. According to Invías, the closure occurs exactly over the entrance to Cocorná at kilometer 14 + 900.
