CBS Documentary, Meghan and Harry Plus One aired in the United States over the weekend and featured some of the most intimate friends of the former actress.
Her make-up artist Daniel Martin and actress Jessica Alba were seen defending Meghan in the film, which was hosted by Gayle King, Oprah Winfrey's best friend.
"We believe that Meghan has been aware of this television project for at least the last month and hopes that some allies and friends have spoken," said a source The sun.
"He wants his case to be broadcast on American TV in the strongest possible way.
"Meghan believes to be his best PR."
The source says that Meghan helped orchestrate the production before the arrival on May 6 if she is Harry's first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
"She also met with Gayle to discuss the show days before she started working," the source added.
According to the source, Meghan's involvement with the documentary concerned other members of the royal family, after thinking that she would stay on the ground in the months following the arrival of little Archie.
"The senior members of the royal family raised their eyebrows on this.
"This is how a Hollywood celebrity works, not someone married to an heir to the throne."
The source's comments on Meg's involvement were almost confirmed when a CBS member said The sun that some of the guests interviewed received "Meghan's blessing" before taking part.
