Domingo 29 de marzo, 7 pm

Con 4.950 casos confirmados y 60 personas fallecidas la escala de damnificados por el nuevo coronavirus en Florida no deja de crecer, según el último informe del Departamento de Salud.

El parte de las 6.30 de la tarde, del domingo 29 de marzo, señaló que 806 nuevos casos se registraron y 633 residentes se encuentran ingresados en diferentes hospitales del Estado del Sol.

Hasta la fecha, en Florida se han realizado 50.528 análisis médicos para detectar el virus, de ellos 4.768 dieron positivos, lo que significa el 9% de las personas testadas, sostiene el informe.

Por su parte, Miami-Dade con tres fallecidos y 1.448 contagiados confirmados encabeza la lista de los condados más afectados de Florida. Le siguen Broward y Palm Beach con 992 y 368 infectados respectivamente.

El grupo de edad más con más personas enfermas es el comprendido de entre los 45 a 54 años. Mientras de que cero años a cuatro, solo se han registrados dos enfermos por COVID-19.

Estados Unidos es el primer país en número de casos con 140.886 enfermos confirmados. La cifra de víctimas mortales se elevó este domingo hasta 2.436 personas.

Domingo 29 de marzo, 11 am

El Departamento de Salud en Florida reporta 4.246 casos confirmados de coronavirus en el estado, lo que representa un aumento de 208 respecto al informe anterior que fue emitido a las 6 pm del sábado.

De esta manera, Miami-Dade, el condado más poblado, reporta la mayor cantidad, con 1,192 contagiados, incluyendo dos muertes que ocurrieron en las últimas 72 horas.

El Departamento de Salud en Florida reporta 4.038 casos confirmados de coronavirus en el estado, lo que representa un aumento de 430 respecto al informe anterior que fue emitido a las 10 am del sábado.

De esta manera, Miami-Dade, el condado más poblado, reporta la mayor cantidad, con 1,121 contagiados, incluyendo dos muertes que ocurrieron en las últimas 48 horas.

Asimismo Broward denota 820, Palm Beach 318 y Monroe, donde se encuentran Los Cayos, 22 casos confirmados.

Hasta el momento 56 personas han fallecido en Florida por coronavirus.

Entre las municipalidades que conforman el sur de Florida, la ciudad de Miami reporta la mayor cantidad de casos, con 539 confirmados.

Si tenemos en cuenta los datos publicados por Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, el país reporta 121.117 al cierre de esta nota, lo que significa 0.037 % de los 329 millones estimados que conforman la población.

Entretanto, los 2.281 que reporta el sur de Florida, sumados los casos de Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach y Monroe, significa 0.038% respecto a la población estimada en esta zona floridana en 6 millones de habitantes.

Sábado 28 de marzo, 10:00 am

El Departamento de Salud en Florida reporta 3.608 casos confirmados de coronavirus en el estado, lo que representa un aumento de 410 respecto al informe anterior que fue emitido a las 7 pm del viernes 27.

De esta manera, Miami-Dade, el condado más poblado, reporta la mayor cantidad, con 1.003 contagiados, incluyendo dos muertes que ocurrieron en las últimas 48 horas.

El Departamento de Salud de Florida confirmó la muerte de otro paciente de coronavirus en Miami-Dade, lo que suma dos fallecidos en el condado floridano y un total de 46 en el estado.

Según los datos oficiales hechos público a las 7:00 de la tarde del viernes 27 de marzo, un total de 3.198 personas han sido diagnosticadas con la enfermedad en Florida, de ellos 144 no son residentes del estado.

En Miami-Dade el registro alcanza los 869 casos, mientras en Broward son 631 los contagios confirmados y 10 muertes, lo que le hace el condado con más víctimas letales de la pandemia en Florida.

Le sigue Palm Beach donde, hasta la fecha, se han registrado 241 contagios y 5 muertes.

Hillsborough con 174, Orange con 174, Duval con 99 y Lee con 95 casos son los otros condados de la Florida donde se observa también un gran repunte de la enfermedad.

El informe refleja que desde que comenzó el brote, se han realizado 35.895 análisis clínicos, 31.114 dieron negativos y otros 1.558 aún están pendientes de los resultados. Las autoridades sanitarias están monitoreando a 3.740 residentes.

El estudio resalta que los grupos de edades más comprometidos son aquellos que van desde los 25 hasta los 74 años.

Por su parte, en los grupos de edades de 0 años a 4 se han registrado solo dos casos y en el segmento de edad 5 a 14 años existen 9 niños infectados.

Según el alcalde de Miami Beach, quien llamó a sus residentes a permanecer en casa, en su municipalidad se han confirmado 88.

A pesar de las medidas restrictivas tomadas por las ciudades de Miami, Miami Beach y Doral, que urgen a los residentes a permanecer en casa, la curva de infectados continúa su camino ascendente. Miami-Dade, por ejemplo, es el condado del sur de la Florida donde se registran más personas contagiadas por el nuevo coronavirus COVID-19.

Los condados son Broward y Palm Beach habían diagnosticado 614 y 194 casos respectivamente, según el informe diario del Departamento de Salud, publicado a las 11 de la mañana del viernes.
