The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that Taiwanese threat detection systems respond in real time, and thus ensure security.
More and more Chinese military planes over Taiwan
The breaches of Taiwan’s airspace by the Chinese have been repeated for over a year. China they regard democratic Taiwan as a detached province, but Taiwan sees itself as a sovereign state. Most military aircraft reached ADIZ in June – there were 28 of them then. In January, 15 aircraft flew into the Taiwanese air defense zone, and in April – 25.
Last week, the Taiwanese defense ministry stressed that the threat from China was growing and that the country had the potential to “paralyze” Taiwan’s defense.
