Millonarios paid a posthumous tribute to Gabriel Ochoa Uribe and Ricardo Ciciliano this Saturday, before starting the game against Once Caldas, on the ninth date, at the El Campín Stadium.
“Millonarios FC will hold a minute of silence at the Nemesio Camacho” El Campín “stadium for the memory of Gabriel Ochoa Uribe and Ricardo Ciciliano. Likewise for all the victims of COVID in Colombia,” the capital team wrote on Twitter.
Ciciliano, a figure for the Blues in the 2007 Copa Sudamericana, died in Barranquilla last week from pneumonia, which had him hospitalized for several days.
While Ochoa Uribe, former player and champion coach with Millonarios six times, died last August after failing to overcome some health problems.
It should be remembered that this Saturday is the first game played by those led by Alberto Gamero in El Campín, after the six-month stop due to the coronavirus pandemic.
