Please note, as of April 8, 2014 Microsoft has no longer released security update and improvement bug in the Windows XP operating system.
Quoted Indobalinews from Pikiran Rakyat, in August 2020 alone, 1.26 percent of all laptops and desktop computers worldwide, still using the 19-year-old OS.
That percentage figure is much greater than that of younger operating systems like Windows 8 (0.57%), ChromeOS (0.42%), and Windows Vista (0.12%).
Windows XP officially reached the end of its useful life on April 14, 2014, this means Microsoft hasn’t provided any critical technical and security updates to the OS for over 6 years.
It is estimated that there are more than 2 billion computers in circulation worldwide that are running unsecured, including about 25.2 million PCs with Windows XP.
