Milwaukee Bucks vs Cleveland Cavaliers 11/25/22 NBA Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Milwaukee Bucks collide at the Fiserv Forum on Friday night.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been on a nice run as they will be aiming for a fifth straight victory after making light work of the shorthanded Trail Blazers in a 114-96 home win on Wednesday. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 34 points on 11 of 18 shooting, Jarrett Allen and Darius Garland each scored 24 points while Evan Mobley tallied 10 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 55 percent from the field and 12 of 27 from the 3-point line as they controlled the contest right from the start and never looked in danger despite getting next to no support from their reserves who combined for just 10 points. Cedi Osman finished with just three points on one of six shooting while Kevin Love was ruled out for this one.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost five of their last eight games and they will be hoping to bounce back after coming up short against the Bulls in a 118-113 loss on Wednesday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 36 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists on 15 of 27 shooting, Brook Lopez added 20 points while Jrue Holiday tallied 14 points with 11 assists. As a team, the Bucks shot 45 percent from the field and 12 of 38 from the 3-point line as they looked be in control of the contest until the third quarter where they just had no answer for the Bulls’ DeMar DeRozan. The Bucks weren’t at their best on the defensive end as they allowed the Bucks to drained 18 3-pointers and they shot themselves in the foot with 19 turnovers which was the different in a close contest.

Looking at the betting trends, the Cavaliers are 0-4 ATS in their last four road games, 6-2 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record and 3-0-1 ATS in their last four games overall. The Bucks are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall.

Head to head, the under is 5-2-1 in the last eight meetings overall, the Cavaliers are 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings in Milwaukee and the Cavaliers are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The Cavaliers will be shorthanded again as Caris LeVert and Kevin Love are both out, while the Bucks are still missing Joe Ingles and Khris Middleton. The Cavaliers have been one of the surprise teams of the league so far and they are coming into this meeting with plenty of momentum after blowing past the Trail Blazers in their last outing. The Bucks have been well below their best lately, but it’s only a matter of time before they hit their stride with most of their players back healthy. It’s hard to split these two squads at the moment, but the Cavaliers are a little thinner in talent with Love missing from the bench and they are only 0-4 ATS in their last four road games, so I’ll lean towards the Bucks in a close one.

Peter Tran’s Free Pick:

Milwaukee -3.5
