This Monday, people who landed at Zaventem airport needed a lot of patience. Several readers have shared with us via our “alert us” button their painful experience.
Among them, Edouard, who was returning from a trip to Albania. The Belgian couldn’t believe his eyes when he found himself in the queue for passport control. He quickly understood that he would spend hours there. “There were only five police officers for thousands of passengers, the organization was catastrophic”, he tells us.
“People have to wait for hours, and that doesn’t seem to bother the airport staff,” adds Edouard. “I landed at 12:15 p.m., at 2 p.m. I had still not been checked, I waited more than two hours! “, he laments. But he insists on another point which particularly shocked him: the exorbitant prices of drinks at the airport. “People have to wait and spend their money on their much too expensive businesses,” laments Edouard. “5.20 euros for the Aquarius and ten euros for a sandwich! It is a scandal ! “, adds the Belgian.
