(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 03 – Marc Marquez underwent a second operation today after it was discovered that the titanium plate used to repair the humerus of his right arm had suffered damage due to the accumulation of stress. This is what Honda, the team of the MotoGP world champion, communicates in a note. Dr Xavier Mir and his team at the Dexeus University Hospital in Barcelona – says the Japanese team – “have successfully replaced the titanium plate and Marc Marquez will now remain in the hospital for 48 hours before being discharged”.
