Motorola Edge 20 may drop curved display

Motorola may soon launch three new Edge smartphones. They could omit the curved screen.

OnLeaks and Pricebaba have early renders shared of the Motorola Edge 20, among others. It would appear that Motorola has deleted the curved design for the display. It may be replaced by a more traditional 6.7-inch screen with 1080p resolution. The high refresh rate of 120 Hz should provide a responsive experience.

The camera specs are also promising. The primary sensor may be 108 MP strong. The secondary camera shoots images at 16 MP and the third sensor for distance and wide angle images supports a resolution of 8 MP.

Edge flagships on the way

The standard Edge 20 model will soon be in the upper middle class, with a Snapdragon 778G chip and up to 8 GB of RAM. The device will have a maximum internal storage of 256 GB and a battery of 4,000 mAh.

There is a chance that the Edge 20 Pro model does have a curved screen. With the Snapdragon 870 on board, this device will be Motorola’s new flagship. Reportedly, there is also an Edge 20 Lite in the pipeline.

Motorola has planned an event on Thursday afternoon, which TechPulse will follow for you. The smartphone manufacturer will undoubtedly unveil its Edge 20 line-up. Then it will become clear what exactly is true of all the speculations and rumours.
