The French edition of France Football on its website published a ranking of the highest paid football players of 2019.
In the first place was the striker of “Barcelona” Lionel Messi. He earned 131 million euros. The second place went to Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo with 118 million euros. PSG striker Neymar, who earned 95 million euros, closed the top three highest-paid players. Real Madrid striker Gareth Bale, who are in fourth and fifth places, and Antoine Griezmann, striker of Barcelona, have 38.7 and 38.5 million, respectively.
